I get that some of you are very passionate about Cubase. Mine is not. The reason is simple. I cannot figure it out. I’ve wasted hundreds of hours of my life on a program that I cannot use. I tried everything from undoing the upgrade, uninstalling, reinstalling, to running every fix and update that Steinberg and the version of Cubase has to offer. It still does not work and it does not work for the same reason. Steinberg never tells you what the problem is or how to fix it. I’ve been posting in forums for months on end and never get any answers. Maybe it’s time for someone to tell us how to use Cubase and what it’s for.

Project sync has always been a mess. Prior to its demise, you needed to keep a DVD/CD project and import that into a project. When the project file was imported, you needed to make sure all the audio was in the right places. If for some reason you had to revert back to the DAW project and the audio wasn’t there anymore, you could edit the project file, but you had to take care when doing so.
